- first day: sleeep. oh beloved zees.
- second day: relax and adjust. meet beijing friends [of my aunts] and visit boring aquarium. sorry beijing, it's seriously boring. can't deny.
- third day: Tienanmen Square and Imperial Palace,
The place where "The last emperor of the Ming dynasty hung himself!
Huang Fu Zhing (Beijing's Orchard Road) - fourth day: DA GREAT WALLLLLL. sucks the life out of you but makes you feel so accomplished. like superman. cold but shiok.
- fifth day: Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.
then on thursday we went shopping at the local CARREFOUR [prices lower than singapore, logically.] and took our NIGHT TRAIN designated to tian an, the place where the mountain TAISHAN is in. train ride there was ohkay, facilities quite old but the ride and finding of seats was quick and smooth. i took the upp-est deck [3rd] which is higher than my loft bed at home because i'm younger, taller, and i boasted about my stupid loft bed. lol. only right lah, how can i make my aunts or uncle climb? train was cool. one compartment has two three decked beds [confusing but qwenchanayo] and there were 7 of us, so, rightfully, tim had to sleep in some seperate compartment together with strangers. POOR TIMMY.
when we reached tai an, we met our second tour guide of our china trip, who seemed to be nicer and more experienced and older and DOESN'T SEEM TO SMOKE/SPIT, unlike the first one. he saw my lil cousin and we found out he has an 11 mth old son. AWW. yeah he made the trip enjoyable.
so we climbed the impossible-to-me mountain which is 1545meters and has over 6000 steps. the product? I'M LIMPING. it was real high and we were in the clouds when we reached the top ... everything was white. i felt really free. then it started to snow little crystals, then the snow got really heavy. the guide said it was considered really heavy, and i was so dimmy happy. tim and i opened our mouths to try to eat the snow. =) happiness. it was beautiful. wish u all were there. THEN the steps got really slippery and as it was snowing up on the peak, it was raining at the bottom. had a funny time climbing down as i watched timmy and my relatives fall down one by one. OH, bad me.
went to other places concerning confucius, his birth, death, stuff. then the guide brought us to a FREE FOOT MASSAGE but all i got was a good feet-soak cause they said 18 and below cannot massage because it'ss mess up your health or something.
the train back was much newer BUT it was so crammed and it was so hard to find our places. in the place my aunt was supposed to sleep there was A DISGUSTING MAN INSIDE. he was supposed to take an upper deck but he saw nobody in the lower one yet so he took it. EEYER! tsk. there was also a fight in the car beside where we were sleeping. china men squeezing here and there and shouting. EEEEYER!! i don like, but i survived. hahar. woke up with no voice and a very painful throat, think it was because of the smoke that was filling my compartment during the night. WHY SO MANY CHINA PPL SMOKE ONE?! =( was so happy to reach back at my aunt's apartment this morning and totally K.O.-ed on the couch while somebody was watching tv. hopefully i won't get any sick-er. =)
