alright, my team lost the quiz today. by 3 points, which is one question's worth of points. i wonder what the winners get. at least we didn't lose miserably, HAHA.

tim had to practice the piano for tomorrow so i had lunch with yunli. she was having a headache and i was just bearing with my throat. we ate and talked and then aunty alice walked by and sat down. she was in the area. so we continued eating and talking until tim came to da bao food. after that we all headed home. aunty alice was talking about my skin being very fair and teochew and stuff. haha, i remember when i used to wanna be tan like everyone else. now i'm fine with anything. being fair isn't that bad what. don't have to waste money on those whitening products and sob over pigment problems. =) OH, one day right, i asked my mom a random question in hopes of seeing her stutter answerlessly. "mommy, am i pretty?" you know what she said? "no." logically i made alotta noise and she continued. "you're not pretty. in fact you look funny. but you're charming. like me. hahaha~" moms hava way with words..
