ABM VBS june 2009 has ENDEDDD. aw ...

on the first day, the kids were adjusting to the enviroment and still getting to know their boundaries regarding what they could and couldn't do. i tried not to have favourites but some kids just stood out, funny characters. some kids were a little difficult, but we tried our best to manage. some mommies were there too, pitching in wherever they could. that helped alot. =) the lesson was on the fall of man. the adam and eve puppets rocked! ahem, not rocked lah (origins origins) they were effective in catching the kids' attentions.

on friday the kids were surprisingly settled and more friendly to each other. we had one less kid, though. on this day the cuteness began to set in and there were NO tantrums. *applause* the lesson was on the final hours of Jesus before he was crucified. heavy stuff for the kids so geil and i were praying hard for them to understand the main thing-- God's love. thngs went well, weather was burning as was the day before.

yesterday's lesson was on the lost sheep. props were awesome again (whooo~!) kids were hypnotized to the stuffed sheep i made and began to inch to it during the lesson like zombies. (with that blank look.) also heavy stuff because of the abstract factor of the lesson.. the relation they had to draw between the shepherd and Jesus. art and craft was so so cute!!! we made sheep photo frames. one kid drew really thick red lips on his lamb and i later found out, when i was walking him home, that it had lipstick on and he made it for his mommy. AWW. lols~

today i was just... battery flat. lean-on-wall-and-fall-asleep mode. taught the kids about the parables Jesus told about heaven and stressed on the fact that it's better than anything on earth and we can go there if we ask Jesus to save us. my voice was and is going so.. had some trouble. isa's in london today! the kids and i prayed for you isa! it rained so des and CH brought the kids to a pavilion in sembawang for games instead of the park. i kinda see it as a blessing because i was so tired! so that was today. i don't have pics, sad. but i just ripped some pics off tim's facebook. pics of the concert we went to last saturday!

oh this was on sunday after church. last time i saw them! =( boohoo~
