the faithful wounds of a friend will never be well taken or readily received, but a friend is born for adversity, and we are to bear each others' burdens. i guess being a christian really isn't all about yourself. there're so many other burdens we help carry for each other. when victories are won, it's a joy. when struggles seem endless, we weep and pray for each other. the christian life's really ironic. we're happy in sadness, we work when we're tired, we can smile as we cry, and we turn the other cheek when someone slaps us. totally not what an abundant life seems like, but it is.

anyway, i'm eating dinner now. it's 11! late dinner. =) i realize how little i've been praying lately. maybe that's why so many things are falling apart! i'll pick it up again! i'm making it sound like a hobby. rephrase, i will pray more!
