first off, happy birthday to s.Gemma!
met geil after lunch (ha) and shopped for the stuff we needed. seriously, we were so blur it was pitiful. in the end i just asked the aunty at poon huat where everything was and gave up on finding the stuff by myself. i mean, what in the world is vegetable shortening?! those who know be at peace ples.
reached (her) home late and began the baking. i was in charge of the brownie mix and geil did the icing. all was okay until the oven tripped the whole house thrice. so we resorted to the convection oven. the heat was set too high so some got burnt, thankfully just one or two. cooled them, iced them, had laksa party, then rushed off to church. our late dinner combined with the late sembawang shuttle bus made us SHAMEFULLY LATE FOR CHURCH, haha. latest i've ever been.
yeah i finally found a reason to use my bear bear apron. mom bought it for me when i was tiny.

i did these for s.Gemma, the birthday girl! it's crazy hard to do this with the buttercream icing.

she's carazeh and i have six fingers. dig that!
i just finished eating a sausage mcmuffin from breakfast and i am very tired.
nobody died from eating our cupcakes today, FYI.
