the three of us set out for SSC first thing in the morning today. we wanted to go to the thrift shop near church to see the furniture.. if there was anything i could use for my room. we bought a shelf and a mirror. now all i need is a desk and a chest of drawers.

picked up these 50cent wayfarers i spotted that are super cute.
(daddy)- no lah, nobody would buy this. it's toy specs lah!
A- no lah, this is quite in now you know? you dunno right? they're called wayfarers!
D- *stares at me*

haha. also found this HUGE hat that is really branded and cost 40 bucks originally but was going for $7, BUT i didn't get it cause, well i won't use it often and i don't need it. so, i got two shades (one for geil!) and some fabric paints that also cost 50cents per tube. man, i love thrift shops! there can be some real deals there. all you gotta do is SEARCH and immune yourself to the dust.

after being thrifty we popped by at daiso to get boxes and stuff. mommy got gardening stuff for her gardening therapy, as i call it. i bought 4 big boxes and a set of pig brushes (funny right, the name.. it's just made of pig hair lah. hair? fur? bristles??) to paint the flowers and wood patternnnnnnn ican'twait ! and last but not least, i got a plastic organizer thing for my oil paints.
happy- the room's coming along. (:

spent the rest of the day sorting and cleaning and scrubbing my window of all the bird and whatever other creatures' poos (eckk.) and now i just want to lie down and zee. daddy moved the disassembled loft bed into my room. it's leaning against my room wall.. so uglily, pieces of metal.. blocking my finally open wall. think he's gonna sell it on ebay. anyone wanna loft bed?
