today was pretty eventful. well, just different from usual saturdays since matt came for teens. tim and i met up with him for breakfast at northpoint's subway (whee~) and then set off for church.
we played blockers for icebreakers (!). the lesson was about the inferiority complex that teens often face. i guess the main point that made an impression on my mind was that God has a purpose for each of us and He made us the way we are. of course we all know that right? but often times we don't let that govern our perspectives towards things that we face in life. yeah, so that's what i brought home.
choir practice was alright. i was really sleepy during the later part. came back home to find tim and matt at our place. tim and matt are realllllly alike (down to the scars on their knees!) but i guess the main and big difference is that matt is big on jazz and tim isn't. got to know him a little bit more and see some photos of his friends and family, then had dinner with him downstairs. i went home while tim walked with him to the MRT station. he's actually quite singaporean you know? he can read more chinese than me and stuff.. surprising. (no offence) i was the little sister who kept sticking around, probably hindering their guy talk. ha.
bottomline, he's a nice fellow. i don't know him that well, but thank God that tim has him as a buddy.. a good buddy, who can sorta stand up with him and help him not feel so alone. :)
oh did i mention matt fell into a drain in broad daylight? really like timmy right?! LOL.
