today i chopped garlic and now my hands are just big garlic cloves. i am a garlic monsterrr.
2D1N was pretty funnay. i hope i get to take a ferry like the one in the show one day. maybe an overnight ferry ride. play games like mad, feed seagulls, sleep on the floor. british agnes would say-- why, what fun that would be! ferry ride is on my life's to do list.
i haven't bought anything from gmarket yet. ah lian agnes would say-- bo lui.
i need to finish a compo on pasteur's discovery of the causes of anthrax now. faiya brainz, people. FAIYA. (fire lah.)

i just watched "sophie scholl- the final days". wiki-ing sophie scholl now. she was so brave.
i was crying my eyeballs out during the parents' visiting scene. her parents reminded me of my parents and she was gonna be executed, so i inevitably put myself in her shoes. she said she would see them in eternity. what perspective.
i'm glad that the film did some justice in portraying her religious motives and beliefs. you know how religion tends to be toned way down. anyway, she supposedly had great faith in God and she wanted to do what's right and she and her bro got beheaded for that.

tummy was feeling really bad today. came back from church and zonked out on the sofa, so i didn't get to bring bran to the vet with mom and dad.
bran's better, his skin is doing good. he's still on meds though. his tumor thing has shrunk. i think it was just filled with fluid and he reabsorbed it after a few days.
i watched the news about the rising trend of the mini pig. after bran, i'm gonna get a mini pig. they're clean and cute and affectionate.

ZITTY.
it's pimple week! must be the funny weather, making my face all oily. :(
bran has a strange tumor growing on his paw, between his nails. it's big and it's red and it's freaky. his follow up at the vet's is this sunday so i'll ask the doc what it is then. poor bran. he's already 9. that gives him about 3 or 4 years max. AH BRAN'S GONNA DIEEEE kjrshflkSJDkjwrearjsdfjlksjfASj !
oh, and this morning i had coffee and there was a little bit left in the mug. i went away and when i came back i was gonna finish it up, but then i saw something swimming around and when i looked closely it was a huge fruit fly.
i thank God for letting me see that. yes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMMAY.
and happy birthday yesterday ezra baby monkey panda!
saturday's happenings: i went for breakfast alonely at ssc. was the first at church for teens. the lesson was on conflict, or people not getting along and how to deal with it. i headed out for lunch with the alamons, we decided to have subway since the foodcourt was too 'sian'. then i was off to ezra's party (aw, cute.) in sembawang. i found my way there, was early in fact.
the balloon sculpturing was disastrous! they kept popping, or i kept popping them? idk, i really did my bestest. it was bad and funny at the same time. uncle ro helped me alot though, he pumped some balloons saving me the workout. anyways, i felt bad at how it turned out but i don't really wanna harp on it. :) ezra was too cute to be true. today too, he wore a panda suit to church. (yeow cannot tahan!)
later at 9pm, geil, roy, eddy, jerry, and celine came over to surprise tim who was downstairs with BJ. they only came up at 10pm (!!!!). but it was nice. tim almost took off his shirt once he came back but we shouted "surprise" just in time. we all had a sugar high and played with the nerfs. nerfs are awesome.
TODAY: had a spat with mommy in the morning, it fizzled out into nothing by the afternoon. went to church as usual, taught chapel, lost my voice, got mad at the kids when they screamed. (especially at the end after chapel while i wasn't there. the big scream. roller coaster scream. i made them all sit down on the floor like refugees. stared all of them down and scolded them.) the lesson was alright, but it takes ALOT to get their attention. the english is really olden british, bores them out. i paraphrase everything. thank God they actually ask when they don't understand some word. so they did coloring again, they didn't really like it but had to do it, played games, the end.
went for lunch at astons with my family, isa, and eddy. we had to eat at the outdoor seats and it was hot like blah. :( but still, it was so cozy. like our extended family with us. it's nice that tim had the teens over last night and isa and ed today just being with him. on my birthday i was quite depressed. and i've come not to like my birthday much anymore to be quite frank. it's just not as fun as it should be for my age, and i can't force it just for the sake of having fun. and tim wasn't around, just my two clueless parents trying their best.
anyway, tim had a haircut, and mom went to buy shampoo. it was then that i pranced upon my favourite kdrama at the vid shop. SHINING INHERITANCE or alternative title BRILLIANT LEGACY. it's like super wholesome and gah! it is also new arrival and 60 buckeroos. *weeps* i wanna watch it with my family cos i know they'll love it. i've already watched the whole thing just as it came out earlier this year.. followed it closely on the net. it is nice. *winks* saw some others that are worth watching like 3 daddies one mommy (super cute cos of the babe!), robbers, etc.
for once i'm naming dramas on my blog. i usually avoid doing so.
GEIL WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUU. i know your phone no money, but find some other way to reply me plees. tag tag.
goodness super long post. there's a war movie on later (yess!). i shall name no more. :D bye bye everyone remember to eat lots of fruits and veggies so you won't get colon cancer!

i didn't get to enjoy my weekly laugh blast from 2D1N, because of 3 reasons. first, i got a call from the groomers saying bran's grooming was done just as the show started. so i rushed down and missed the whole opening. i still had to tend to bran when he was back. lost another 10 mins. managed to watch a good half hour or so of it, but IT WASN'T FUNNY. and then i got really hungry so i spent half an hour making a roti prata hot dog wrap. and the show finished! sighs. nevermind.
i've been feeding bran his meds everyday. i think he's getting better? i hope so. last night, he peed on my bed for no reason. good thing there's that lining sheet for old people who pee on their beds below the bedsheet. i put it there after seeing bran pee on tim's bed. so that soaked it up and it was pretty much fine. he is now banned from my bed, that is, when i'm actually around to ban him. he jumped up while i was sleeping last night... sneaky fella. i was really frustrated with him when he peed on the bed. whacked him nicely with the featherduster.
had a history test today. sure pass! whoo~

met up with mommy at the old folks' home to visit mama just now. mom bought dinner there, and i brought a korean pear (a mama's fave) and a pack of biscuits. had a good hour with her, she's doing quite alright. then we dropped by northpoint to get some stuff and headed home.
it's so embarrassing when i sleep in the bus. my head, man... it keeps bobbing up and down. and sometimes i alllmost lean on people. aughhhh!
i cannot wait for the next braces appointment. there is now a huge gap in between my two front teeth. i can't wait for the rubber band to be put in so it'll pull by teeth back and my jaw won't protrude anymore. fasterrrrrrr. :) exciting leh.

Funny Bunny goes to the doc's.
bran's skin thing got worse because he kept scratching. his skin in general is really bad.. flakey scabby red-- the works. so mom and i brought him to the sembawang branch of mt. pleasant (animal hospital) just now to get it checked out.
we were late for our appointment and had to wait for like, an hour? had fun looking at other dogs there.
anyways to sum it all up, bran's problem is-- skin mites. it's a mite that's usually dormant in every dog, but when the dog's immune system is down, the mites flare up and traumatize the skin. he had to take a skin scrape test (quite jiat lat. got blood.) and a heartworm test, cause if he had heartworm, the mite treatment might get more complicated. go google it. he turned out to be negative for heartworm and positive for angry mites. the assistant let us see the mites under the microscope. creepy things. the cause of his bad immunity is genes. he's a purebred dog so, his ancestors were probably frequently inbred and stuff... careless breeders. but that explains why he looks so pretty and fluffy on his good hair days.
got the meds, which came with risks. :| but i think he'll be just fine. next appointment in two weeks.
and, i found charlie in the master bedroom dustbin. it is an inexplicable phenomenon. i'm still trying to figure out how he got in. (it's quite tall, the bin.) on a sad note, i can't take care of him anymore so i may have to release him somewhere, unless someone wants him. anybody want a big, fat, shower-door-opening, dustbin-climbing, dog-biting terrapin named charlie? he's a fast little thing, would win you a gold in any turtle race. yes, no? i thought not...

haha i do actually look a wee bit like chua enlai in that pic! whasdisman?! today was fine. lessons on the devil and nehemiah. lunched at SSC and got some stuff from daiso. had a small tiff with my mom but came back and slept it off. woke up and had another lengthy talk with tim. had dinner, chilled, and switched on my comp to blog but ended up looking at old pics. that's been sunday.
mommy's almost totally fine, thanks for the concern everyone. :)
ah what to get for tim's birthday? ahhhhhhh.

#1- mommy's better and i don't think it's mumps.
#2- i found my beloved and long lost korean dictionary (three cheers to randomly rummaging through stuff!)
#3- bran's wound is better but he's still in the cone.

#5- 2D1N is such relief from mugging. variety chong shin yeah.
many more to mention, of course. i thought of listing things to thank God for cause today's teens club lesson was on prayer and a point was on giving thanks. oh one more...

got an email from JM about the situation where he is in the phils, and stuff. it's hard to imgine how they deal with that kind of thing every month or so (if i'm not wrong?) although this time it's pretty bad. shoutout to JM and joannaR: WE'RE PRAYING FOR YOU GUYS!

tout le monde, la pluie est merveilleux.
everyone, the rain is wonderful.
my turtle should act in prison break. he (i just presume it's a he.) got out again and made his little pilgrimage to my room door. this time, bran got to him. but bran didn't bite him or anything.. he just sniffed like crazy and got into a little panick. cute picture, but i dunno if charlie bit bran or something, cause bran has a huge bald-red patch of skin below his cheek and it looks freakishly painful. almost bleeding! might bring him to the vet (ouch, wallet.) if it gets infected or something, but for now we're just making use of antiseptic stuff and the cone thing to stop him from scratching. he looks pathetic... hate it when he has to wear the cone. :(( POOR BRAN.
had dinner with the parents just now, downstairs, and guess what? daddy had his laughing fit thing. it can almost really be classified as a medical problem, i'm serious. mommy joined in, and it got so loud, ugh talk about embarrassment. but it's fun. they're fantastic lah. they can get high without drugs. they just look at each other laughing and they find it funny and they continue laughing.. and i just join in and pretend to laugh like them so at least people sitting around us think we're laughing over some joke, and they find my pretending so funny and they laugh somemore. they only stop when they're blue and passing out. will i be like them when i grow old, i wonder.

Happy Birthday Angel.
went to angel's party on saturday. cupcake decorating is one of the funnest things on earth, seriously. but i didn't get to eat mine... i gave it up for adoption. :( went to get my hair cut after that. i have a very good girl hairdo now. *blink blink*
sunday was as usual. one lesson i learned was about humility. i realized that humility and modesty are often mixed up. people think that to avoid talking about accomplishments or abilities or whatever is being humble, but it's not. that's modesty. humility is giving all the glory to whom it is due, which is basically God. so that's some food for thought. :)
mommy wasn't feeling well again so we went home for lunch. timmy lunched with jake. he had work to do, some filming at the istana, and he left to do that in the late afternoon.
i have a volcano zit on my chin and it hurts like wow.
