rainy rainy afternoon. my whole family had dinner at the Laus last night, just to pay them a late new year visit. sher showed me teens camp photos and vids, it looked fun. maybe i can join in next time, if i'm not like, disallowed or something. :|

this morning we all went to visit my distant but very nice aunt on my mom's side. we visit her every year. her late husband was my mom's granduncle, her son is my mom's cousin and my uncle. anyway we went there for breakfast and spent some time with her. after a while we left, cause she works night shift and needs to sleep. it's funny, when she saw me and tim she gave the natural reaction, wah so big liao ah. then she turns around to tim and says, got gerfren aredy ah? and i'm like, do i look to fierce to have a boyfriend or something? does it look impossible? HAHA, but it's fine with me. fierceness is a blessing in disguise.

lalas, i was having some keyboard trouble just now cause i changed my wireless keyboard to a wired one, and i wasn't pressing any keys but the comp was saying i was, and in the end tim realized i put the wireless one on the bed and bran was using it as a pillow. heehee, stupid dog.

had my mos lunch with raye and sher on sundayyyyyy, like finally. don't really know what cropped up the past few weeks. i actually wanted to go home and change first cause MBC services usually finish later than ABM ones and i was really sweaty and uncomfortable [fussy aggie.].anyway, in the end there was no time and i was like maybe an hour late or something. SORRY. i'm usually super punctual one leh. met my two bored out friends at j8 and ate at MOS, yeah! mos makes you stink after your meal. you end up smelling like the beef patty. so we ate and talked and took stupid pictures, sher's dad called, and we all went home. LALA, nice afternoon.

attention! i have decided not to cut my hair until ... whenever i decide to stop deciding not to cut my hair. i'm sick of having to pin up fringes, plus, i have peranakan genes aka curly fizzy not-nice-for-fringe hair. :( i shall be contented with looking old.

had CHINESE NEW YEAR VISITATIONS with church yestaday ! timmy and i got up early cause he wanted to be at bjohnny's house earlier than everyone else with his beloved vee-cam to catch all the 'action'. my mommy insisted i brought oranges to give to every home owner and gave me a crash course on what to do with them and how to gt them back and stuff. TRADITION, lols. so we went there for breakfast and slowly everyone drifted in, namely: daphne, yingliang, jieyi, aunty mei qing, aunty feng mei, aunty janet and jacob, uncle roland, s.yunli, ummm.. bjohnny and family and me and tim. later uncle roland had to go off but s.weichern joined us.
first stop, jamie's houseee! first time and fun time. we teens occupied ourselves by playing bingo and games some other game which i missed cause i was in the toilet stomach-aching away. jamie and her mom were realy nice and all. :)
next, we moved on to s.weichern's houseee! first thing i did was drop an orange i was supposed to give. EEK, so clutzy. i was very comforted at the fact that many other people brought oranges too, and i wasn't the only one that seemed to adhere to tradition. HEEHEE. anyway, i went into the house to meet dumbo! [dog] he's nice and big, furry and drooly. had a good lunch there and the teens had another small, short gathering to talk about more stupid stuff. :D said bye bye and left after an hour or two.
the next house was MYYYYE houseee! haha, i quickly rushed to the front of our small crowd hoping to have some time to throw some stuff into my closet and slam in before anyone entered my room. in the end i realized it wasn't so messy, i think thanks to my papa and mama. heh. so i toured people here and there and comforted frightened bran and complained about the heat and played with th chest expander thing and complained about the heat somemore. after watching some vids in the media room [tim's] and touring the art museum [mine] and singing some songs, we left for aunty janet's houseee!
IT IS SO SUPER ULTRA CLEAN AND NEAT LUH. must be mostly aunty janet's doing lah, haha. cozy little place with an old granma dog guarding it. we played around with the comp there and had a good laugh at the childhood photos and soon had to say bye once again.
i came home with tim only to discover we didn't bring our keys. ARGH, smelly me and smellier tim greeted my mom and dad as they brought my granny home from dialysis. SIGHS, fulfilling day, huh?

was quite late for church yesterday. helped out in the kids' side again by standing, sitting, and being an ornament. HAHA, no lah, i tried to help okay. battled sleepiness during the latter message and went straight home after everything was over.

at about 5:30 we all left for my dad's sister's house. every year lots of relatives from my dad's side gather there and that is about the only time i see all of them, other than christmas sometimes. my dad's dad had three wives so the family has expanded like bunny rabbits and i often find myself seriously blur as to who's who. i was pretty idle until my cousin and her hubby came and sat down nearby, and that's when i had a decent chat with anybody. [thank God la. or i would have started talking to the dog there.] both my cousin and her hubby are TEACHERS. the guy's a maths teacher. MATHS. sec 1-4. he's into photography and stuff so he and my bro talked about all that camera smoosh while i talked about, erm. all sorts of stuff? note: at this point my face was almost, like, glazed and i was dying for a facial blotter or something. ANYWAY we stayed until about .. 9:30 and scooted off to homesweethome. pics will be posted when i get them.

LALA, i love my ang paos ! later i'm gonna go visit two aunts and maybe the Laus. dunno why leh, i find visitation kinda nice this year.

on a smellier note, my granny's still keeping rotten things in my room. when she goes for dialysis, sometimes people buy food for her, like kuays or curry puffs. she'd keep them in her bag and eat them the next day, TO MY DISMAY. :( other than that she's fine. she's super hyped up about CNY. i think it's an old-ppl-thing. they just love CNY and new clothes and dressing up. :)

TOMORROH there's abm visitations! my house has been opened too. AIYAH, have to go clean up.

so i've been out of talent [so called] in my drawings the past few months [sadly]. recently i tried using charcoal because it looked so cool and fun. two disasters were produced, one zombie girl and a man-woman. VERY SAD LEH, i totally abhored charcoal for a few days. stayed away from my sketch book until today ! i finally squeezed out one beauty, and i feel like an artist again. *tadahh* YAYYAYYAY. i think i should stay away from charcoal.

today is very S-I-A-N. this is bran's sian face. i really believe there was a pig integrated somewhere in his family line. it's evidnced in his looks and character. he even a pig doesn't snore so loud lah.


BOOHOOHOO hoo hoo. it's monday again SO FAST. today bran has to go trim his nails and pluck his ear hair. i don't think he likes it, but i think he had a doggy crush on the groomer. HE LOVES HER OKAY, so funny lah. anyway, all of us are being really kiam siap and mindful of money spent this month, next month, don't know for how long. actually i've never been rich as long as i can remember. i'm used to walking the whole day shopping without buying anything. it's funny, but i guess it's good for me, like, if i do make good money in fuure, i'd be really thrifty? OR MAYBE THE OPPOSITE! hmm.

my eyes are really goldfish-puffy today. tight eyes make me feel very oriental, you know? anyway, today is bran's grooming day, and tomorrow is lucky's! see if i can pop by and see her, and pass T-low back some stuff he loaned me. mommy's gonna make achar.[yay!] but just for the family. veggies are expensive now.

sunday was the same as usual, except for the fact that I HELPED OUT IN THE KID'S SUNDAY SCHOOL! heeheee. they called me teacher! and when the kids had their milo and fruit loop cereals as a treat, i asked for one cup too. SO THICK SKINNED RITE? that's me. anyway they had to finish it up whad. ^^ i tied plaid.. pleat.. whatever, to one side of my head and got lots of comments, e.g. act cute, cute, haha, so funny, etc.

today the icebreaker at teens club was so funny-embarrassing-i-don-like. win loose or draw, CHINESE VERSION. i don't hate chinese lah, but i'm almost as good as an ang moh, especially when it comes to reading, writing, and PROVERBS. brrrrr. so, the message was on the commandment -- thou shalt not kill. the jews followed that law in the literal sense, until Christ came and taught them about the deeper side of murdring, about how you can acually do it inyour heart, subconsciously and consciously. good reminder..

granny is giving me a hard solid hard time. just making a fuss about everything and leaving rotting things in my room. AAAAAAAAAAAHH!

aah, busier than usual today, or should i say, this week. DON'T KNOW WHYE LEH. :| maybe i'm wasting time by daydreaming more than i ought to [aggie's fortes are daydreaming and burping.] ANYWAY, i'm now reading up on ABM's kids' sunday school plan and reading mark 1-8 for tomorrow. WANN TOO AEITT LEHH. very long. AZAAZA!

sharing: yesterday at SG bJohnny spoke about friends and company. about how wise company makes you wise, and foolish company leads to destruction. it's yet another sensitive topic as all of us have some friends here and there, in school and at work, who are not very good influences. the main idea he explained, was to purpose to be an influence, know where to draw the line and walk away, and to always offer a helping hand. a simple lesson, yet so hard to follow.

hopefully tomorroh we can paint the teens room. miss yoo, all MBC people. =) AH, valentines day's coming eh? well, there's nothing to really celebrate about, BUT it's always nice to get a note or two from nice people to show appreciation and/or LURVE. so, don't be shy, *winks!*

SUNDAYSUNDAY [yesterday] was a long day. we were on time for church [victory!]. bJohnny preached on DRESSING, the almost-untouchable subject. i realize some particular teen is dressing more formally recently. anyways, the second message was on encouragement. i admit i was figitive [sorrry.] and trying to keep awake. had a short cake cutting session for DEAR YUJUAN and set off for lunchie. had lunch at esther's neighbourhood and from there she and jieyi went to the library. tim and i went home. i was very tired but only managed to get a tiny lil wink of sleep. soon it was 7+ and JX came. then the Ongs, then the Laus and Wongs and timlow and alex and john and clara and carol, all to watch the sin vs thai match. i joined in and walluped chips. i never knew sis. Suwei was such a good screamer. anyways, singapore won and everyone went home. mom and dad soon came back from buying windows and i was watching a lil something [very happily. =)]. cannot catch NEVERMIND. went wearily to bed but struggled to fall asleep [why always liddat one ah?!] and tadah, it's monday ALL OVER AGAIN.

teens club yesterday was FUNNY and sleepy (for me). before the quiz we had the lesson by b.Johnny about honoring your parents. lots of questions were asked and it was a good time of discussion. the quiz was nice and short [bJohnny so understanding lah, he know we were quite pressed for time and sleepy and DIDN'T READ FINISH THE PASSAGE] and once again, MYYE team leads. hah kidding luh, no hard feelings! *makes X with hands, no pride!* if jacob didn't have exams i'm sure he would have helped his team win. AFTAH DA QUIZ, it was lunch time, and then kayaking time! met up with tim low, gorgor JX, and the newly weds CH and felicia, and the bunch of us set off from yishun interchange to macritchie reservior. EH macritchie very clean leh, compared to that waste basin kallang lah. :D ANYWAYS, after one so super short hour we headed back and b.CH read out a message bJohnny prepared for us. we then went for dinner at AMK where i got a sudden urge to shopshopshop, but i controlled OKAY! i had a huge portion of chicken chop that cost a huge price too. JX and timlow had a $4 plate of HAM. no, not sandwich ham, the bloody drippy mini clam ham. felicia was 'ee'-ing away and i ws pretty grossed out too but i didn't show it. FYI i don't eat cockles. [i hope tt's wat they're called?] JX kept motioning for me to eat one and i was like, erm dowan. DOWAN. I DON WAN LUH. *smile smile*. we took a train home sweet home. pics for yooo.
