many people were sniffing and coughing at church today. it's in the air people, take care of yerselves!

went to BV to see gran after lunch just now with my family and EE. EE bought KFC since gran's mad about chicken. when we got there we realized the center DOES NOT SERVE MEAT cause it's founded by a buddhist guy or something. we just brought her down in a wheelchair quietly and let her eat anyway. ;D the place is alright and gran was in a fantastically talkative mood. will post pics when i get them.

yesterday EE brought me to a PERANAKAN PLAY which was so so so cool i'm seriously loving having peranakan blood in me now. gah! it was funny and gave a thorough picture of our culture. they spoke in peranakan so i only understood 50% of it but there were subs projected too. acting wasn't fantastic but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. the songs were so cute! i thought of my gran when i heard the songs cause she sings just like that. my EE and mom tell me that my grandpa was a part of that association and used to act and sing in the plays too. too bad i didn't get to watch. if i get to go to melaka i'll save for a baju kebaya of my own. heehee.. :D

gran has moved into brightvision rehab! thank God, it's nearer than that other st. andrews place (which rejected her.) :) she has a month there so i hope she gets back on her feet during that time, so we can take care of her at home after that. we all went to see her during the week, bringing chicken soup and rojak. she looked great that day. ^^ go mama!



loving the rain now.. it's like the aircon we never had! oh, daddy's gonna let me shop for art stuff next week. i'm zooming in on oil painting. also returning the 6hr (!!!!) dvd CH lent me. watched it in double speed. heh, cheat.

sunnyday evening's vienna boys choir concert! i give them four out of five stars. :) the singing was fantastic, but some arrangements were a bit disappointing, especially 'arirang', since i like that song so much. anyway, photo! yes, one only. didn't really get to take any since we left quite quickly.

TIM IS EIGHTEEEEN. had a pizza celebration at e2 olga's house on saturday. cozy! :) he likes my present alot. =D i let him open it the day before so he could wear it on his birthday. i think he's been wearing it for three days straight. ew.

saturday started with teens club at sembawang park. had the lesson and played captain's ball, then went to sun plaza to eat. i think we went there mainly for the aircon. i shared beef rice with geil. went for choir and headed home to bathe and have dinner at my aunt's.
before going back to church for choir s.yunli, geil and i went to the thrift shop near church to take a peek. it's really mysterious there cause of the many rooms and two cute old people tending to the place. quite alot of old stuff there. saw this pair of leather shoes that had potential so i tried them on and they were a perfecto fit! and i have adopted them. KEEHEE.. ^^ couldn't let them rot there all alone, and the price was really good. s.yunli and geil were laughing at me cause i was browsing through other items with the shoes on in the shop. my inner karung guni came out as i dug through all the clothes and bags.. rarh! but i didn't buy anything else. after choir i brought the shoes back, cleaned them up and put leather conditioner on them.

this weekend i also finished up the drawing for mommy. taza!

getting back to making cards since my aunt and sher want some. :D i'm looking out for good stickers, no kind in particular, to make cards with.

drew a picture just now and i'm giving it to mommy! i know i don't usually post up drawings on this blog, but i really like this one. i saw it on a nat geo cover while i was looking for pics for my schoolwork. in case it's not figure-outable, it's a picture of a mom lying down with her baby in her arms. sweet huh? you know how i usually settle with imagining the hair so as not to waste pencil lead? well, i had to draw the hair for this one. couldn't bear leaving the mom botak. :) as you can see, it's not finished yet.

the baby is SO HARD TO DRAW. puffy eyes and folded skin all over! but he's SO CUTE TOO.

gran just must make a funny face when i take her photo! went to see her on saturday morning. shan't elaborate, but according to mommy she looks better than on previous days cause that day she was her chatty self again. saw her wound cause gran insisted i took a look at it while the nurse was doing dressing. good thing mom described it to me beforehand a few days back so i was mentally prepared. it isn't as bad as i thought, but it is grosse. it's like meat after you stuff it, and you sew it up with wide stitches diagonally, only thing her arm's flatter now that the junk inside's been removed. the neck tube's been moved to her chest too. oh, gran you strong old soul!

i think the monsoon season has finally arrived! tim began his army training today. daddy's making sure he gets real tired. (evil laugh) but it's good that tim's willing to go through daddy's exhausting schedule, so at least daddy doesn't have to force him. wah, i see them exercise i also feel like joining lor! gahaha. i was telling tim it wouldn't be such a bad thing if we switched duties.. he studied and i worked out. he thought so too. :D

timmy was a sweety today and gave us a treat at toa payoh! LALALA i am there when there is a treat you know me~ it's not like he's very rich but he still wanted to share some love. thanks timmy, i feel so...... full. HAHAH.

tim finishes work at KK today! woots~ now it's exercise exercise exercise until he goes crazy. i did note to my daddy to bring his inhaler along. safety first. *winks* i MAY join them while they workout, definitely not in the mornings but in the night. heh heh. my family is noticing my spare tire(s). :O

i was thinking about how i always regret not making my parents put me in a ballet class, and i think it was actually a good thing they didn't. if i did start feeding the interest i'd be having a hard time stopping it now because I LOVE BALLET SO MUCH. so i guess it was a good thing they didn't let me dance. yes when i was a kiddy i wanted to be a ballerina, you din know right right? hah. imagine agnes in a tutu.

today we sang that sky high song, but i sang the alto part since i have an uncooperative throat. UMM, we could've used more time to practice the alto part lah, but OH WELL what to do? we'll just do better for the next song. :) although i can't help but wince when i think about it. i don't think we sounded nice! but anyway that's just my opinion, and like bro. bob says, it's the heart that counts since we're singing for God. i hope God liked it. :\

after church, had lunch and went home with timmy. oh, and the pizza i blogged about the other day wasn't from him? i dunno, heard later that my dad bought it. confusion.

i think something's wrong with my head, i've been having headaches alot more these days. you know the kind where, if you move your head it feels like there's a metal ball inside rolling around and hitting the sides of your skull? maybe i have some tumor inside, or maybe i'm just plain paranoid. :D

ahhh, it's the lovely weekends. this week went by pretty fast, maybe because of that holiday in the middle. :)

this sunday we're gonna sing a really difficult song, and i really don't know if we can, but oh well. please don't be mad at me if i lipsynch some parts because i CANNOT HIT THE NOTES! nope, can't. tried and failed. eh-heh. :\ gonna practice tomorrow. we'll see how it goes.

gran is still pretty down, according to mommy. tried to talk to her on the phone yesterday, but HAHA she couldn't hear very well even though i was shouting my lungs out. she only caught the vowels so she pushed the phone back to my mom saying i was talking nonsense. -_-"
she must be so sian in hospital for so long. :(

anyway i thought i'd elaborate on what geil and i did yesterday. i went to popular after lunch to get the vouchers for jeremiah. her parents went home to ZZZ but geil stayed with me. after a while we found ourselves at the DICTIONARY section (!!!). no lah we not so studious lah, i was looking for an english-korean dictionary and geil was mesmerized with all things french. well, not all things, now that i think about it, just the language, heh. so we stood there for a long time reading those phrase books for tourists and trying to pronounce the phrases. XD funnay. bought wrapping paper for her mom and headed to the house.

waited for her parents but they were real tired, so geil and i went to the party first. the end.

oh, and popular doesn't even have english-korean dictionaries?? pfft. got thai, jap, german, french, no korean. *_*

the baptisms and birthday celebration went really well! today, jeremiah, ed, and uncle ro. became part of our church OFFICIALLE. =) three cheers to them~

was pretty tired and i had a nagging headache so i knocked out just now.
