YAY i changed my blogskin yet again. anyways, i shall rant about the WEDDING REHEARSAL. :) weddings are so exciting.

it was nice to see some MBC people. miss them quite alot. oh wait, i shall start from the beginning. bJohnny picked us up right downstairs of ur place [so nice right] and his family, the low family, my family [discluding mommy.], and yingliang went for dinner together. ate at some old coffeeshop near raye's place in jurong. food was nice but there were SO MANY FLIES. we went on to the church and soon everyone else came. the rehearsal went smoothly and calmly. :) the groom still needs to work on his vows, though. he was frowning and trying to dig them out of his brain while rehearsing, which was SO ENTERTAINING. some guys are singing a special too, so that'll be fun to watch. keeheeheee. i, on the other hand, will be busy smiling at people and handling their angpows. *grinnnns*

TEENS CLUB. there was that much-postponed quiz today. i proved useless to my team as i hardly remembered anything i read. SORRYYYY. it was boys against girls. yes, we won, all thanks to daphne. before the quiz, we had icebreakers and finally somebody came up with a decent icebreaker. hmmhmm :). after the quiz bJohnny shared a short lesson on one of the ten commandments -- keeping the sabbath. from there he drew out many biblical principles that christians would need in their everyday life, e.g. - putting God first, being patient with each other when ironing conflicts out, etc. he really examplifies his lessons BEFORE teaching them [in his daily life] and bases everything on bible principles instead of personal opinions, so not only was it easy to understand what he was saying because he had already demonstrated it to us in time past, but i also felt more sure about what i was learning because it came from God's book itself. one point i noted we miss in many aspects of dealing with people is the balance of patience, love, respect, and the truth. many a time we swing to the extreme and thump people down when it's not necessary nor helpful. useful stuff, huh!

on a lighter note, i have a mud mask on now because my face is a horrid mess and I DONLIKE. :( all you people who have good skin, BE SO THANKFUL OHKAY!
