mom took MC again. =( aging stinks. was feeling really whoosh when i woke up in the morning, had this bad headache. tim was down with the flu too. did lesser school work for that day. ate dinner with timmy and went for SG at BJ's place since his leg is so not usable now.

SATURDAY.
went to BJ's again for teens club. um, we watched that kids' show called ben the baker, how nostalgic is that lah! i immediately recalled that theme song they use for the intro. hah. after that i went to eat lunch with geil and the two boys, and tim's ezlink ran out of money so he just joined us in the end since we were eating near the MRT and he had to top up his card. (poor fella got so embarrassed on the bus. that didididid sound and the bus uncle's stare. tsktsk.) went for choir, then went to ah mah's birthday dinner, then went to yishun sapphire for another dinner thing. wowsuchalongdayyyyy. i am tired.

that studying overseas thing is really a big fat block of thought in my mind right now. geil and i were talking about it on friday. she might go to the philippines and i might be shipped off to australia. for many years. *cry*
sighs. goodnight lah.

mama making another funny face for me. hahah. we dressed her up and brought her out to a not-so-nearby-but-nearest coffeeshop for dinner on sunday. :) she's alright physically, but she's not happy there. i dunno what to do...

today's BJ's operation day! everybody please pray for speedy recovery and the family. BJ fightingg!!

valentine's is coming. i shall spend it celebrating my ah mah's birthday with my dad's family. no boyfriend in the equation. SIGHS. isn't valentine's day some kind of pagan thing anyway? (haha yah condemn it since i can't enjoy it)

AH i lost my internet and TV and phone connections for 2 days! because the modam thingy fried on us. anyway, it's all back! THANK GOD. the worse part was that i was watching a long awaited episode of family outing halfway when the connection went berserk. (YAAAAAAAAH!) the frustration..

SATURDAY--after teens club geil and i went for lunch, then to daiso. after that, momma joined us for choir practice. then, she wanted to go to daiso AGAIN. i am officially quite sick of daiso, BUT there are some things that i really want. these super cute porcelean angels that i saw at the gifts section.. i have a weakness when it comes to angel ornaments. if they're still there when i go back i'll probably buy them. keehee~

came home and made alot of small valentines day cards with the stuff i bought from daiso. planned to sell them on the art blog that has been so forsaken, but then the modam problem came up, so i'll just use them myself. (ha.)

planned the lesson and craft stuff for the kids since it was my turn to teach chapel and ZZZZZd.

mommy was feeling pretty bad yesterday so she took MC and went to the polyclinic with daddy. asthma! she's been having it for a while.. you can hear her airway constricted when she breathes sometimes. anyway she had a good rest. in the evening we went to get our hair cut together. keehee~ i made sure the lady chopped off alot of hair, but when i went back home daddy said i looked the same. (daddy being daddy.) anyways, i got it cut to snip off those split ends.. not cause i wanted it shorter or anything. and also to accompany mommay. ^^

went to bed early last night and dreamt about going to teh han min guk. :))

yesterday was the last lesson. teacher bought a cake. hahah. we had to go down to the coffeeshop to eat it.

the bunch of us may be continuing lessons with him but it will be more like a private tuition thing because he's not teaching there anymore, and everyone is busy with school. i went to the neighboring language center to check out the prices and schedule.. and the lady didn't really wanna give me a definite price. why? she explained very politely, but to the effect that i may be a teacher spy from another center. T_T" --okay. anyway i found out later from chelsea, who also inquired, that it's around 300 bucks. :O the teacher offered to teach us at a much lower price. so, dunno. not-confirmed status. :D

met uncle sam ang at bukit gombak on the way home to collect the 12 bucks he's been owing me for ages. hah. he say i preety leh! heee heee~ *exaggerated shy laugh* no lah, just that we've known each other since babyhood so i guess i look a little different now. was nice seeing him again. i know i've grown taller. aha~

came home pretty late cause of the cake and waiting for sam. watch our beloved 2DAYS1NIGHT with timmay!!!! GAH it's so funny.

today wasn't a nice day. just so.. dreary and so.. not nice. and the fake rain, wha~ there's that smell of rain coming and the humidity of a nice shower, but no rain. the sky even darkens! i must not believe nature so easily and get my hopes up like that. moving on...

i need money to take that exam for the korean basic level tomorrowwwww, and i can't bear to use my angpao money. TSK. will just panic and grab the money one minute before i leave tomorrow, so i won't think so much about it. =( 10 weeks have passed so fast. *sighs*

just now i was drawing this guy called kim junsu. ( i have the feeling you're gonna google him in about four seconds.) he looks really (really) cute, but his face is SO HARD TO DRAW. i realized masculine guys are easier to draw than cute guys. (face, not personality lah.) anyway i did a reasonable job and it looks quite like him. ^^although i drew his head too high and his hair got cut off. heheh. i spent my evening doing that since i wasn't feeling too cheery.

ALOT of trash came out of my face, so.. happy lah. hah. when you see the stuff stuck on the strip you get this shiok feeling in your gut lor. go try for yourself lah. :P

yesterday we went to see mama before heading to my aunt's. it was a last minute thing cause we had to wait for the home to call and inform us that she was back inside. (my uncle brought her out to the beach) so we went and she was happier this time round. =) we're still in a fix as to her return, though. it's quite complicated...

couldn't go see her today cause she had dialysis all the way until evening. went for the ABM visitation. had to miss the last house to go to another aunt's place, stayed there for a few hours, then went to EE olga's place. heard some interesting stories about my dad's family while at his sister's house.. really like a chinese drama! his dad had three wives and his grandfather had more than one too. heard about how the three wives fought and how the siblings took care of each other and stuff. had a good dinner at EE's.. did the chinese salad thing and none of us spoke good chinese (peranakan thing) so we just blurted out whatever wishes or whatever sounded close to the chinese phrases. funny.

face suddenly got 7 pimples popping out at once. (!!!!!!!) a sign that i need to LELAX~

gotta go to SSC to buy something i saw at popular the other day.. then i'll probably go straight to the library and then to KOREAN CLASS! not sure whether to continue taking lessons after the basic course finishes...

gran didn't come back. uncle sent her to old folks' home. =(

we went to see her yesterday. she's doing alright but she was crying because she was so sad. CNY is a big thing for old people so, i guess she hates spending it there. i was trying to imagine being her, being stuck there, waking up there, lying there all day, dying people everywhere, no family, nurses flipping you here and there, stuffing you with food you don't like. for some time yesterday i was really, really mad with the people who had a part in her staying there... just after seeing her so sad. we (my aunt and my family) brought food there to eat with her. so happened my uncle came by (we already told him we were going) and things got a bit messy. that visitation ended on a very sour note and my mom was super upset on the way to reunion dinner after that. after reunion dinner we stopped by my parents' friends' place and then came home at about 1. was almost braindead.

today we're trying to go there after my uncle leaves the home. then we're gonna go to my dad's sis' place for another dinner. i'm not really liking CNY this year.

i shall take a day off today to do a couple of things:
1) care for my sore throat.
2) prepare for mama's possible-but-not-confirmed return.
3) clean up my room
4) draw. i miss drawing so much!

yesterday i had to say bye bye to one of my drawings (aka one of my babies) and i was SO SAD. spent so much time choosing which one to let go of. my dad wanted to submit one in as an extra thing for my art. or something like that. =( *wails*

mama's gonna be discharged and might be coming back today. it all depends on my uncle. i hope she comes back here and not go back to those lousy old folks homes.

that was dinner yesterday before ko-class. it was so big i cut it in half and gave half to a guy called samuel. we met up to cross-refer our compos. chelsea didn't write anything. no time. (we understand, m'dear...) samuel has an eng-ko dictionary (no fair) and he got his ko-friends to proofread/correct his compo (cheat). mine was google translate (also cheat but can be considered independent learning or something). anyways the teacher wrote our works on the board (!!!!!) and corrected them in front of everyone. mine got plenty plenty mistakes ya, embarrassing. for the lesson we learned how to buy things and bargain. nice~

chit chatted a bit at the coffeeshop and went home to watch 2days 1night with timmy! ahaha..

gran is so far so good. well, not good but just stable. at least she's not ripping anything else out of her neck anymore. my parents are seeing her every single day.. they're pretty tired. =(

just came back from hospital. wah, the travelling itself is so draining. gran was in a really BAD state just now but when tim and i got there she was already much better. because the wound on her chest kept bleeding her BP just dropped and my parents thought she wouldn't hold on for long so they called us to go over. before we got there the surgeon stitched up the wound and her BP rose back, so when we reached she was totally different from described. my unpredictable gran.. haha. the weirdest (good weird) thing is that her mind is pretty much normal now. she recognizes everyone and talks sense. just, all of a sudden. thank God. =)

i'm feeling quite tired out now. irritating headache and stuff, rarrh!

so, gran might not have sepsis. (-_-") it's still unsure what she actually has, but it's affecting her brain. she's still in her own world, but at least now she's eating a little and she's overall happier. one thing that's bugging my mom is how fearful she is of everything. anyways, thanks to all the lovely people who've been keeping her in prayer and showing concern and stuff. thanks alot! =) oh, for those who didn't hear, my granma yanked out the dialysis tube thing that was implanted in her neck.. dunno why she did that but there was blood all over according to my parents. i saw some blood splattered on the wall when i got there. i think she bled alot. tsk tsk. later she didn't even know what she did and she said someone else pulled it out. poor mama. so that's how she is now.

another school week is starting AAAH. on top of that i still have to figure out how to write the 2 paragraph compo for our korean assignment thing. the title-- MY DREAM (ambition). gaha~

a quick post before i continue my schoolwork. gran hasn't been doing well these few days. suffering from sepsis now.. she's in SGH. she's gone bersek, so she's just talking nonsense and she's in her own world.. doesn't recognize anyone at all. very weak too.

parents going through a hard time trying to work things out with my uncle and coping with gran's situation. their health isn't good either. mommy took mc and went to the polyclinic yesterday. daddy just can't seem to get well from that flu that began a few weeks ago! dad's immunity system isn't strong anymore...

wah, been doing work for hours and hours. hoping to keep this pace up throughout the year. today the o-ppl got their results right? sher was so sweet to call me up lah. she's going to some jc this year.. just like everyone my age. makes me fired up to finish my ACE so i can m-o-v-e o-n. i'm taking a different route from her. she's going to jc, then poly, cause she wants the jc poly life. i wanna go to uni straight.. no interest in taking a longer route. haha. so typical, we've had this difference since we were small! anyway, we were just laughing about it yesterday at the park. it's so so strange, this growing-up-talking-about-the-past-we're-both-big-now feeling. :) aza! maybe in 10 years time one of us might be married or something. AAAAAAAAH!!! LOL. future freaky.

i feel like this year is going to be very serious for me, since i'm aiming to finish up homeschooling. like all the things people have said about whether or not i'll make it in the future getting into uni's and blending in.. all boils down to this year or the next. to some extent it feels like i have alot to prove, but i guess i shouldn't care about that right? study for God.

it feels good to have body and age slowly merge together too, if you know what i mean. like when i was 13 people used to think i was 16, when i was 14 they thought i was 18. now i look just about right. *big smile* i am 16 going on 17. ah old old hahaha.

nowadays the bat/bats are frequent visitors in our kitchen. there was also a wasp building its house in MY WADROBE. (!!!) daddy broke the house up and we found many spiders and bugs that the wasp stored for its babies. felt bad for the wasp, but who told him to build his nest there?! hah.

tim went for his root canal today to get all the bad stuff out of his gums. he looks fine now.

yesterday there was a new student in korean class, and i think he's from china so he had a bit of an accent. on the way back home while talking to him i discovered that he used ACE too. (!!!!!) small world moment lah! three cheers for homeschooling~

came back and watched 2days 1night with tim while eating supper. it-was-so-funny ! we were laughing like madd. perfect de-stress show. 2DAYS 1NIGHT jjang!

this week has been brain-draining and i think my life is getting shorter and shorter. (it's fine with me. i don't really wanna live that long.) i got the full load of my 8 subjects this week and it's no fun at all. =( rarrh~

the whole family went to the eye center early this morning for daddy and me to get our eyes checked. i have to wear my dad's specs now to see close cause the eyedrops they gave me for the tests make my pupils dilate, and the effect lasts for about 2 days! my eyes are pretty sensitive too. in aggie-terms, my eye muscles are paralysed and they can't focus.. due to the drops.

after our checkup we went to visit mama, then mom and i went to SSC! was really, really zoned out cause i couldn't see properly. i hope it'll go away by the time i wake up tomorrow.

i look like daddyyyyy. HAHARR.

welcome, 2009!

the year started alright for me. not very enjoyable, or enjoyable at all for that matter, but oh well.

went for watchnight after the korean lesson. learned about seasons and tenses. :) the mentally disabled lady wanted to sit beside me, so i bo bian. before the lesson started chelsea and i were trying to revise and the lady kept telling me about some doctor who fell in love with her. (???) right. rushed off right after class and had to stand the whole train ride. dunno why there were ALOT of foreign workers in the train.. some alight more board. my head was throbbing in the train... felt horrible. (i got the fluuuu~) reached church around 1020. =)

yesterday wasn't a very nice day so i shan't talk about it.

oh yah, gran is in hospital again for fever. =( please pray for her. dunno what God has in mind for her.

last day of the year, everybody! going for watchnight after korean class later. (raye's not going. roar!) still kinda sick with the cough and stuff.. sighs. my throat feels horrible.

today was the last day of choir singing. thank God, it went alright. :) my korean teacher came too. (LOL) i think i forgot to tell everyone that he is very young. they sorta expected an older person, so they got a little bit of a shock. um, he's just my teacher. just a teacher! thanks to everyone too who were so friendly and warm towards him. it's good to have such a warm church family. ^^ he followed us all the way to the beach to see kenny's baptism. (congratulations to kenny!)

after the baptism we dropped son seng nim at yishun MRT and came home to change up and leave for my aunt's house. the dinner there was fantastico~ there was even a korean dish... felt like it was just for moi. hah. came home after a cozy christmas dinner.

my tummy isn't feeling very good now. oh yah, thank God so much that tim's gum is almost totally back to normal, no more deformed beaver! now there's just his viral infection/ fungus thing to deal with. tsk tsk.

last night there was a bat flying in our living room AGAIN. goodness, bat... i freaked out and it flew away eventually.

tim's really suffering now cause he has a huge infection in his gum and he looks like a deformed beaver, or some marsupial with a very protruding mouth. went to the dents and she was quite worried for him, made him take an xray and gave him some strong combination antibiotics and strong painkillers. i think he couldn't sleep last night because of the pain, so my mom gave him double dose of painkillers. if the anitibotics don't help then he has to go under the knife! drainage lah. drain all the pus out. ackk~ he looks really weird now. looks like i punched him or something.

on top of all that his fungus this is totally getting worse. poor timmy.

i found them! the laughing-fit photos! RAWR! i think they really couldn't help it. off tune people can sound realllllly funny. here is the story in a nutshell:

daddy lost his voice. bro. richie didn't know the tune to the song. daddy sang fireworks (think of the sound fireworks make) and bro richie followed. too funny, couldn't take it, burst out in laughter, couldn't stop, spread to me, stopped singing. switched places with mommy and began our special all over. they laughed, mommy laughed, DISASTER and everyone in front laughing at us also.

just came back from the polyclinic. tim, dad and i went together at around 2, finished around 4. tim got his body fungus checked out and daddy and i got our referral letters to the eye center. dad needs that glaucoma check that tim went for last time and i need to get a specialist's opinion of my eye.. spasms. i think i told some of you already, my eyes suddenly dart all over when i'm concentrating sometimes, just for a split second. i sorta got used to it so i continue with whatever i'm doing (usually drawing or writing) but when mommy heard about it she really wanted me to go for a check. i also have this ringing in my ear pretty often and i think my eyesight has deteriorated, so, to the eye center! i hope it's nothing serious, like some brain problem or something. =|

after school i had lunch with birthday girl geil yesterday. =) pretty disastrous, but it's the effort that made it sweet. heh. went to swensens for ice cream after eating. yummay!

reached jurong early and went to the library to revise with raye. our korean is slowly improving, slowly. left for class at 6. the teacher told us to go early for extra lesson time but in the end he was late so we waited and waited. at least now we've 'bonded' with the other students and alot of the ice is broken. the lesson went on alright, but there's this older lady in our class that's mentally disabled in some way, and she kept interrupting the teacher. anyway, we had our first dictation too. (whoooo so exciting luh.) i did alright. hah.
took the train back with this girl called chelsea and the teacher again. found out the teacher has a few jobs here? or something like that. his teaching us is like an on-the-side thing. he is very very shy. he's so shy that he didn't dare to sit beside me, he just stood right in front of the seat until i told him to just sit down. am i scary? lol. nevermind don't answer. we talked about dok boki until he reached yew tee, leaving me to my long and lonesome ride.

end of wednesday. brain tired.

jajjang~! revised korean with miss raye again today. managed to bank some useful phrases into our vocab list. will try to put them to use with each other. we went to the jap foodcourt after buying our in-food -- dok boki! we realized that asian food is super healthy, especially her bento set. rice, salmon, egg tofu, and long beans. who could grow fat on that kind of food?! go asia. :)

geil's birthday is technically tomorrow since it's past 12. whooooo~ haaaaaapy birthday to you, ah cannot sing yet! kekekeke.

came back from our 5-day church camp yesterday. the camp was good, themed waiting on God. =)

suffering from some fungus now.. all over my thighs. horrible feeling. as long as it doesn't spread to my face i'll be fine. =|

met up with ray to revise our korean and eat dok buki! some spicy rice cake street food. ^^ racheol fighting~!

tomorrow's the last day of VBS whaaaaaaaaa! i always get the feeling of missing the children when it comes to an end. hope they remember the lessons. :) i love the kindies, inspite of the tantrums and whining.

the jingle took off too, thank God. i was afraid it would be a total disaster and that it was too wordy and difficult, but phew~. ^^ the skits we prepared were so good! but the performance today especially was, soso. hahah. still, today in the toilet one kid yelled from inside a cubicle, captain agnes the show was so nice leh the show was so nice! wah, i almost cried lah. little responses like that from the kids are so moving. :) jaaaaamie you should have heard the way she said it man.

today was the first day of VBS and WAHHHHHHH, it's draining. i really like my class. thank God they were good today.

yesterday was the second korean class. the people in our class are pretty cold and anti-bonding except a nice few. managed to make some friends by being thickskinned and talking first. got to take MRT with the teacher and some other korean teachers too (so cool lahhhh~) and asked alot of questions, more about the teacher than the korean. my teacher (son seng nim) only studied english for about 2 months lah! *jaw drops* in two months, i must be as good in korean as he is in english.

i just made the boat and puzzles and tails for tomorrow's VBS day. the boat has things to hang the paddles on, very very cute. keke~

super super sad to miss ko class next week because camp starts on tuesdayyyyyy ahhhhhhh~ ! money fly away. the lesson looks more difficult. tsk. will try to meet up with raye raye on monday to practice talking and maybe go to that sol-mart in novena. =) monnndayyyy come soooonnnn.

turns out after adrain met with the publisher he realized the book needed alot more work than he'd thought, and i can't afford to give all my time and effort to it so i dropped out. sighs.

vbs is coming! rarrh~ went to bugis with jamie on monday to buy our art stuff. made some really cute props for our kindies class! =) i think she's coming over today to rehearse what we planned for the kids.

oh oh another thing is korean lessons started! last week, yes so happy lah. today's the second lesson. so glad i'm learning with miss raye. but hor, the teacher pronounces my name as ag-er-nes. =( might just change it so it's easier for him and less embarrassing for me. T.T"
