I LOVEE IKEA! okohkays, organize my thoughts. ahem. my whole family went to ikea todays, and had quite some fun there. :)) at first i was really bored cause the things there haven't really changed (no offense, ikea) but once it got to lunch time, ohh mann i was totally not bored. the food there is SO good. i love swedish food, except for those sheep stomach dishes. had like, 9 big meatballs, potato salad and some laksa. yah! LAKSAAAA. laksa rawx man. laksa? laxa? whadeva. hitched a ride on carol's car when she was on the way home from work. thanks carol! ((:

on a graph, my life now would kinda be a straight line sloping upward very slightly. things are happening and i'm learning, growing. i like life now, as in, i'm happy with it. i sound old and light headed right? lol ...

oh yah, i forgot to mention, so i'll add in. my aunt came over today and bran [dog] got all freaked out thinking she was some kind of intruder or dog eater or smth that he crapped all over the floor in a slicky diarrhoea. i think way back in his family line, one of his ancestors was a skunk. sweeet.

these few weeks have been the alpha 8 roller coaster. i've not been feeling so good, actually. anyways, let's see.. what have i been doing these few weeks. oh yahh. my aunt brought me to a french school cause she wanted to sign me up for lessons to back up my school work. (learning from a tape ain't easy, ok!) anyways, the march term class was cancelled so i gotta wait till may. =( we'll see how that goes lah.

played badminton with michelle and shermaine and JX and maurice again last fryday. the game was SO all over the place. we weren't really playing properly.. just whacking and scolding [me] and waltzing around and whining [also me]. maurice was, ok i can't be bothered to elaborate on him.

went to bishan wif my dad to get the scouts uniform and stuff on friday. goodness the guys at the counter were so funneeee!! [i presume they were all once scouts too] there was one very dao guy lah, but he was comically dao. like, he looks like a sec 2 or sec 3 kid but he was like, "yes? can i help you? *in very dao accent* .. yes? any problem? no, no! what are you looking for?! *me ignoring him*" HAHA! ok, not being mean, but he was shorter than me. ok i can't say tt and say i'm not mean. WADEVA! there were two other guys at the counter and one guy [ i dunno why i'm gg on about the guys at the counter, but oh wells] one guy said there were no smaller sizes for a shirt and the other guy [indian] said there was and they kept argueing and insisting and i just kept laughing. went for scouts yesterday smelling like the storage room in the scouts association building. ddnt have time to wash the Tshirt b4 i wore it. heh. i know like eew right? we went tracking at some nature trail in kranji and got a lecture on nature and the eco system. i think the trip was mainly for the younger kids lahh, can't blame them. we walked like, 5km, generously feeding mosquitoes along the way. went straight to WTC for song practice.

let's see, what else in new these few weeks... i've learned to count to 30 in french and i'm totally into pride and prejudiceee! GAH! bon nuit!

AAAHH!! i did good in my french! really, reallyyy happy. ((: ohkays all the stress and zits payed off. yeah! right. amongst my french-success some other things have happened this week. i joined the scouts thing that was organized by some ppl. went for my first time last saturday. it was okay lah, at first i found it abit boring, partially because the session was held at the baking botanical gardens and i wore sandals so the ants were eating baked-me up. i was kinda having a sore throat but i still went, and after baking my brain just fried up and i was getting a fever so i pon tang wise teens for that week. THAT WEEK ONLY LAR. heh. i have had a SERIOUS breakout [raye stop laffing] and my face looks like a more prominent map. SOBS!! i feel like locking myself up in my room and not going out and isolating myself from all sociey until it all goes away! ): ok my dog puked on the floor and i think i can see some faint discoloration now. oh man..

i'm about to update about something that happened a week ago. gosh, i'm lagging big time.
so, last saturday, wise teens was like, quite pathetic, as in the attendance. at first it was just me and gerlynn, then shermaine, cheryl and KY came. after the lesson and all, shermaine and i waited for her dad cause we were so not in the mood for bball, which was the activity of the month. :( when sher's dad came we were driving off in the van when suddenly he saw some white smoke coming out of one of the landed props there. 81 jalan pemimpin. he was wondering if it was a fire, and honestly, i was apprehensive. then the smoke got more and more and it turned black. OHKAYYs it's time to call the fire station or something.. we notified a nearby auntie whu lived in the area and she notified her son whu notified bishan fire station. i like the word notified.. sounds smart. heh. anyways, the fire engines and police cars came. the fire spread to the next house beside it. anyways, a huge crowd was soon gathered around. there was this one neighbour called paul. he went around introducing himself and wishing everyone happy CNY. weird. after the fire was put out, we headed back to sher's house for the long awaited dinner.

today i was looking thru the past year's photos with timmy, my baby brother. i totally hate it when he's taking the photos but i love the photos. they're so funny.. teens camp was the funniest. was laughing at ppl's faces.. so don't blame me if the next time i see you i start snickering, ya?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY E-E-OLGA! today is my aunt's birthday. i was collecting ice cream from her when she drove by AND I FORGOTT TO WISH HER OR EVEN MENTION IT! i was like, oh. hi. thanks. bye! then i went upstairs and remembered and i was like, OH CRAPpppp. anyways, i smsed her and i know it's a really lousy way to wish someone you just saw, but oh well. she never forgets my birthday, and any occasion pertaining to me as a matter of fact. she's a great aunt, not only cause she gives me gifts and speaks french [chuckles], but because she's always there for me. i'd like to say she doesn't spoil me, ahem, she .. enriches my life [lol] to the best of her abilities , with love, care, and stuff. that doesn't come round often, other than from my parents. what's more, she's dang hip! have a great birthday, e-e. thank you for everything. :))

there wasn't anth new at reunion dinner this year. same old thing, people commenting how tall i am and how skinny i am and then they'll ask me about homeschooling. i can almost prepare a script in order of topic for the whole evening. spent a few hours at ah ma's house and went to visit someone living nearby-- uncle steven, his family, and his parents. it was nice to see zachary again. think it's been.. 2 years? 3? anyways, we were once again commeded with,"wow you guys have shot up" or smth to tt effect. somehow i manage to be taller than people my age most of the time. skinnier too. i count it as a blessing and a curse. people have a common saying that i can be blown away by a slight wind and i think i believe them.

yesterday after church we headed home and i managed to nap for like, half an hour? went to ah ma's house again and spent another hour or so there. then we proceeded to my aunt's house where everyone was gathered. i have quite a huge family on my dad's side cause my dad's father had three wives. i have three ah mas and a whole bunch of aunts whu sound the the same when they laugh. it's abit scary. when i hear THE laugh i picture hens. i was very antisocial there and instead of talking to my cousins, whom i have never talked to in my entire life, not even hi, even tho i see them every year, i ended up talking to my uncle. singular. one uncle only. occasionally i'd talk to some aunts. in the end, my sole companion there was max. he is a dog. throughout the whole day i was msg-ing zachary whom i had just reunited with the day before. that activity subsided my boredom quite alot.

tooday i'm gonna visit a few people. hopefully tooday will be a good day. i need to put on weight.

HLC had this CNY celebration thing so i just joined in and helped out yesterday morning. michelle was really funny and she and i just kept laughing the whole time. um. don't wanna say why lah. heh. qite embarrassing. anyways, i had a great morning there helping children make lanterns and stuff. i'm so caring, aren't i? while i was in the bus heading home i called michelle's HP and they passed it around, just for fun since i was really bored. finally some really mean person passed it into the hands of Mr. maurice. *augh* i am so polite lorh altho i ddnt wanna talk to him at all i just pretended to listen to whad he was babbling abt. bbrr.
when i came home i got the news that my previous church friend's mom had passed on due to cancer. i haven't seen my friend and his brother for like, 5 years so we're quite distant. went for the funeral service in the evening. it was good to see them, but it's sad we had to meet up this way. hey he recognized me and called my name lorh! i was surprised. felt real sad at thru the funeral. could only wonder how they all felt, someone so close leaving them.
met some other friends i haven't seen in a long time there. THEY'RE ALL SO BIG! the last time i saw them we were still playing catching and x'mas plays and stuff.. man. was nice to see them again. of course i was once again interrogated abt homeschooling, but hey, the more to talk abt the better. heh. at first tim was standing around like some millitary soldier with his arms folded, then i was like, loosen up lahh. he kind of did in the end. ha.

badminton was funny.. everyone was laughing most of the time. heee. i injured my brother a few times, but of course, it was unintentional. *winks* as usual, maurice was gah gah irritating. why is he so irritating? maurice, pleeese stop being so irritating. michelle seems quite pro to me *envious face* and sher kinda lost touch with the game.
watched the sunrise yesterday at changi beach. it rises everyday so it's no big deal, but from changi you can see the sun, as in, sun sun. like the ball of sun itself. ok forget it. it was fun anways.. couple of crazies waddling to the beach at 6 am squeezing into this mini mat on the shore staring into the sky waiting for smth, and screaming out airlines whenever a plane passed. [we were guessing which airline each plane was frm. =D stupid rite?] i was gonna head home aft tt but decided to follow sher to see some scouts swim. it sounds sick when i say it. ahem.. we went to see some.. swimming scouts. it was ohkay lah, but it was so darn hot i wanted to jump into the pool myself. went to sher's hse aft tt. went to wtc aft tt. went to megan's hse aft tt. went out with sher aft tt [again] and went home. i felt guilty i ddn't see my mom off to work. =( but, oh wells.
today was boring. went to church and went straight home. forgot to do the assignment thing for today and ended up mumbling away like some idiot. *pouts* i also got free lip gloss today. the end. [getting bored of typing]

tooday was funn! learned how to say Genesis 1:1-2 in frenchee! YEAYY!! ohkay that's about all that's been exciting for me t'day. is that good or bad? HM.
right. this week's been boring week and there's the badminton thing tmr so i'm all hyped up 'bout it. :D don't know why i like playing the sport so much.. for the most part i'm lousy beyond hope and i'm giggling and laughing and screaming and clashing rackets with the good players 95% of de time. oh wells. I LIKE ITT! MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!! hehhhh..
oh yah, today my parents were cooking achar [yeahh baybeh.. bring it onn.] and the rempah thing they made smelled so bad cause there was so much vinegar and the smell was S000 overwhelming so i made a STUPID decision to clip up my nose with a peg. a CLOTHES peg. yeah man. stupid rite? darnit. *pouts* anyways i got a very red nose ofter that with two very very prominent clip marks on each nostril. [stop laughing. i'm so not laughing lorrr.] [OEI STOP LAUGHING LAH!]
grr. my dog's been peeing ANYWHERE. there's no safe-from-pee zone in this house anymore. you never know when & where he strikess.. expect the unexpected mann, oh yeah. [right. i'm exagerrating.. exaggerating.. whadeva.] gotta buy Bran a lil cup. heeeeeee.
ok i gotta goes. =)) [you're all probably clapping, cheering and saying 'finally!'.]

SATURDAY:
skipped one wise teens. went to melody's house and practically hung out there the entire day! talked alot and did stupid stuff like writing dumb notes to guys. hee. had some fun there.

TOODAY!:
carol and my able-to-speak-french aunt brought my granny out THE WHOLE DAY. was kind of a family outing. first carol n my mom brought granny to polyclinic to have checkup done. then aunt got ankle xrayed cause it hurt quite bad. went to have lunch at EAST COAST!! i went around tables picking on ppl's food cause everything looked so goooood. gosh, there was mutton soup, o-lua, wanton mee, satay [lots of it], LAKSA, and uh.. ohkay that's it. it relly seemed like alot of stuff lorhh. anyways, i got myself all bloaty. =D sat around near the beach. tim and carol n i went to investigate some big sandcastles and tim took some photos [instinctively.]. [there was this guy in trunks and i was quite afraid tim got tt in the shot too.. the trunk-guy was also investigating the crummy castles.] after relaxing and unbloating abit we hopped back into the cars and went for a spin around the joo chiat areas. my mom and family lived there for quite some time so it smells like home to them. i absolutely love the old architecture there.. so peranakan!! saw the old red bakery which is appearantly very famous. saw lots of old, peranakan tiles lining the old houses. i even got to go back to my grandfather's OLD house which has been totally rerenovated, sadly. carol and tim and i then made a trip to the nurseries in thompson. had fun there finding far east flora and freezing ourselves stiff in the cold room. hee. in the end carol bought two dozen roses for $7+. good buy! :) she gave them to my granny. awww. we came back home and had some tea [so cultured rite?] and so we ended our day. uh.. the end.

i know i'm really inconsistent in updating, but whadever. heh. spent new year's day at watchnite and church so there's nth much to write about. school's started and the 2006 kicked off quite awkwardly. usually new years start quite smoothly and everyone's kinda floaty for the first month or so, but not for me. 2006's been rough ever since it started. i think the rest of january will suck big time for me. oh wells. D:
so whad else has happened this year, umm.. oh yeah. my hamster gave birth again! 5 lil pieces of red.. wriggly matter. let's see, in all i have 11 hamsters now. anybody want one? lelong! 1 for $10! got discount!

finished a new drawing a while ago. introducing JEANETTE AW after my careful but unintentional disfiguration. 

had u fun time at st. john's island. was pretty kool roughing it out there. the lessons were good. learned quite a few things. the games were okayy [lol] and oh so tiring. it's so sad i was having a BAD cough over there so i couldn't enjoy myself to the fullest. gosh, i coughed so hard every night (except for the last night) i was tearing and sweating like heck! to all those ppl whu thot i was crying or homesick, I WASN'T LAH. i just felt like the contents of my stomach were gonna come out due to the violent turbulence of my chest. sad. i got panda eyes because i couldn't sleep. *sobs* another thing i hated abt the camp was the super-hero bugs that inhabit that island. thay're giganta-sized i tell you.. one even stuck to cheryl's leg during the lesson.. perv dragonflies! other than that the camp was okay. i got my fair share of mossie bites as souveniors. [did i spell tt right?]
okayy honestly, i was getting fedup with my long bushy hair during camp mainly because it kept getting into my face and it was unmanagable and a waste of my shampoo so i got lots of it cut off. [uh. no offense to all you long hair-ed ppl. you rock.] not i am called mushroomhead at home [pot calling the kettle black!] . but i'm okay with my new 1960's look. i don't especially like it but i'm okay with it.
right now my granny's scolding the radio with coarse language cause there's nth nice on. mann...
yesterday was x'mas. it was okay. abit boring i must say. had some fun giving out the presents, tho. =) for x'mas this year i got ear rings, a haversack from daddy, chocolates, and a long sleeved shirt from my aunt. not badd lahh. x) i gave out a shirt, two mini shirts [one for lucky. say thank you.] a blackbook, a keychain, two bottles of adidas deo [ which indirectly, but now directly says you stink] and lots of cards. [seriously i dunno why i'm listing whad i gave out.. i'm bored. i guess. ] anyways, had a great x'mas dinner with my can-speak-french aunt [i love herr!] and came home. end of x'mas. :))

yeay! vbs is over! was great to see all the children from last year and some new ones. it's quite weird not being a camper this time round. i would say things went okay. i taught one day's lesson [sighs and snickers.] i think passed considering my age and that it's only my first time. [STOP LAUGHING, whoever saw me teaching!] the 5 and 6 year olds were a funny bunch. they have exceptionally small bladders. [it's true okayy.] one boy painted on the boys' toilet wall and one boy washed his hands in the TOILET BOWL giving the reason he couldn't reach the tap. [i'm so sorry boys it's not that i wanna discriminate you!] anyways, today was the last day of vbs and the children were still as cute.. but the whole day my skirt was dropping and drooping so it kinda bothered me.gotta pretty necklace from sher [thankeuu sher.] and bueble gumm, all from the philippines!

in all, i had fun. i also have aching feet, arms, and shoulders from carrying children and i'm extremely tired and pretty much brain dead. but after tmr's hangover, i'll be fine. oh yeah i had jogging fever again after i came home today.. i started doing pull ups, trying my supress my need to run. in the end i couldn't so i went for a jog. now i am assured i will sleep super soundly tonite. it's a miracle i can still type.

i think i forgot to mention i'm taking up french next year. got familiar with some phrases first.. it's a pretty hard language to study and speak, but it's kool once you can pronounce the words. :D

last weekend was fun. had a wedding lunch and birthday dinner on the same day! [sat] altho i got indigestion aft everything, it was great. met alot of distant realitives.. it's funny all they said was i looked tall or old. bleh. my mouth actually cramped up at the wedding thing 'cause i smiled too much! at the birfday thing my uncle's frend said he thought i was in JC or smth. i was like, weeping thru the dinner. augh! anyways the dinner went great too. we surprised my uncle and he came in all smiley and a lil hunched.. was cute. i seriously can't guess how old he is. prob 60+?
this week's been.. quite boring. [as usual.] aft church, went to help jieyi get stuff for the vbs. on monday went (window) shopping with my mom and then went for the vbs meeting, which was draining. just opening my eyes seemed draining. before the meeting i had dinner with raye at MOSburgre at j8! not too sure she liked it. the meeting ended quite late. [poor raye.. all the way back to jurong!] jieyi came over on wednesday to do up her class sketch backdrop things.. whadeva you wanna call it. :)) today, I GOT MY FRENCH TAPES! gosh i'm SO excited i doubt i'll wait until next year to start! it's HARD. wish can get a buddy to learn it with or smth. [tim is not an option.] parlez-vous francais? muahaha.
i'm getting lazier and lazier to blog.. it becomes a chore aft a while. no journalism in my blood, that's for sure.

had a great monday this week! it was ikea day. woke up quite late and spent the short morning grogilly.. then set off to ikea. the x'mas sale is on now so the place is bright and cheery and holiday-ish. first thing we did was have lunch. i absolutely LOVE the food there. heavenly swiss meatballs ans poached salmon and i absolutely love the prices too. ok lah, the prices not bad.. but can't afford to spend that amount regularly. tim was still diarrhea-ing so he ddnt get to enjoy the food. after lunch we just let ourselves get lost in the place. we were 'organizedly lost'. my favourite level was the first one. ha. all the art stuff and gifts. i wanted to get almost everything [whu doesnt] but had to settle with just a hanging picture and some gift wrapping stuff. my parents got some stuff for the kitchen. i forgot to mention that tim farted in the cab while we were on the way there. i told him i'd blog this. inconsiderate fella.. next time i'll jump out of the cab thru the window! frankly, my mom and i thot it smelled like honey dew.. rotten honey dew. whadeva. no no timmy next time you hold it in! ok back to my boring story.. uh.. ya. after shopping for like very long looking at almost everything i got abit bored. i think i got bored mainly 'cause i cldnt buy so many things and ddnt want to look at them altogether. oh wells. paid up for the things and went to the hot dog shop to see see around. they sell lots of swedish.. sweedish.. uh.. lots of things from switzerland. i bought a pack of weird looking candy and my mom bought meatballs. THE meatballs. man i'm just so in love with those meatballs. uh, anyway. went home and fixed up the things. the rest of the day was spent drilling [my dad] and lazing around [me]. END OF MONDAY. spent yesterday and today mugging over unfinished schoolwork. looking forward to the camps to come [surprisingly].

okay, my hands got itchy and even though i'm so lousy at blogging, i think i'll start annoying ppl once again. am sick now, as in physically. [duh] and am also very bored. i have not been out of this house for a six days and i can't stand it anymore. i'm going for a walk or smth later to get back into civilization and hopefully get some fresh air. anyvays, got some stuff going on these few weeks. a wedding lunch, a birfday dinner, a wedding invitation to design, a diarrhea-ing brother and a moaning grandma whu thinks she has diarrhea. on top of all that i have scheul. yep, no hols fer me! see, i have 72 'books' to complete evry year and this year i kinda got laxed and now i'm trying to finish up.. [you're probbly clueless, but, whadevar.] so, uh.. i kinda forgot whad i was heading towards. oh wells.
