Umm, mind is really clogged. lots of things to think about. (i know i seem really carefree, that's just because i'm not emo.) but seriously there are suddenly some pretty serious things to think about. must pray hard for wisdom and God's hand to be in things so they can be sorted out with good ends. :)

had choir practice and another song practice for the independence service, and we had to learn a new song. felt bad cause kenny couldn't get one part and i ended up outrightly saying, "no! no not like that like this. NO NO!" haha~ but i apologized and he says he didn't feel affected. the air is clear. ^^

had school. studied for math test. (dying) got stuff from popular. went cold storage, bought chips for timmy to welcome him back. went to friday night. tummy feeling really bad now. :( end of friday.

feeling pretty... mad/ irritated with some people because of the things they said, but i'll let it slide lah, not worth pursuing. if they do it again i'm totally gonna tell them not to talk that way. ugh so many things i wanna type out. must control. no details no details.

planning to make this super cute 'specialized' card for isa's friend.. something with a camper, hockey stuff, and mamee noodles. it's gonna be one cool card.
preparing for next thursday's class too. how should i get a 3 yr old and a 9 yr old to draw the same thing? brain teaser. i think i'll just use the good ol' dotted lines for the younger ones lah. will be teaching them how to draw faces for both genders, and the body. different clothes and stuff. :)

A: yes papa went office then met mama for dinner why? anything important? anything i can help you with... sir? (at this point i feel like counter staff.)

will teach the ongs how to make cards later. heehee~ i hope it goes well. prepared all the stuff last night and didn't watch 2d1n BECAUSE-- well firstly i needed to prepare the stuff and secondly geil is coming over to watch laterrrr! (the encore) since she doesn't have cable for now and the house is pretty conjested, told her to come over and watch, and have a little breather too. :)) and also spend some time together lah, we didn't even talk last sunday because she was sick and i was masked. seeya later!

i failed an eng test last week (!!!!!!!!). one of those papers where the questions are like huh? have two more tests tomorrow. fightingg!

card updates on my art blog. made some last night. (:

took a nice long nap yesterday and woke up to have dinner with timmy and send him off at the mrt. we went to the interchange area to have $1.60 chicken rice BUT IT WAS CLOSED (boo) so i had malay food instead. then we went to ntuc to buy snacks. (so cute.)

at the mrt station mommy and i kept waving, you know like receiving someone from the airport, the very enthusiastic wave with the face. yeah we were doing that and jumping and all purposely embarrassing him as he went up the escalator. he's just so blue whenever he has to book in, so.. tried our best to make him smile, which he did lah, while shaking his head. ha.

came back and made a bunch of cards.

this morning we welcomed our new t'cher, bro dezzie. he's taking the second part of our bible study thing. i had to wear a mask. -.- (no relation to new t'cher)

read two chapters of little pilgrim's progress to the kids for chapel and strrrrained my voice to sing and play games with them. thank God for added strength cause i'm feeling really blah today. my face skin is even peeling. (girl thing.)

then my family went for lunch, and we got into a discussion. discussion ended but dad carried on with tim. i dunno lah.. it didn't really end well. (alot i wanna write but, no real point pouring out on my blog. shouldn't use this as a vent!) anyway i don't like this afternoon and the end.

now tim is gonna let daddy shave his head.

i bought haribo for geil [and myself]. everyone could use a little haribo every now and then. unless you're allergic to it, of course. that would be quite sad.

ATTENTION

OUR FAMILY HAS DECIDED TO QUARANTINE OURSELVES FOR A WEEK BECAUSE TIM'S CAMP HAD A CASE OF CONFIRMED H1N1, AND WITHIN THESE TWO DAYS TWO MORE PEOPLE FROM HIS BUNK HAVE FALLEN SICK WITH FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS AND ARE AWAITING OFFICIAL TEST RESULTS.

we thought about it carefully and just wanna eliminate the possibility of a spread because of us. especially in church. mommy says we're just being responsible. but daddy says that if the two guys' results are negative for h1n1 then we'll stop quarantining. hm, see how.

ANOTHER art class today. :) this time the novelty (on the kids' part) has worn off and i really had to try harder to keep their attentions. it's not their fault, they're just kids and they were trying their best. today we used watercolor, and they didn't really like it much because it's much lighter and blotchier that poster or acrylic. the paints mix with each other on the paper.. just harder to use as a whole. so i told them we didn't need to do it again in the future, but for now they had to finish what they started. we made bookmarks and painted sunflowers. i think they've really had enough of flowers.

next week it's drawing time! people and animals. no flowers, kids. i promise.

went to northpoint since mom and dad were there and bought hot and spicy dokboki as a treat for myself after a hard two hours' work. (HA.) no i was just craving some at the time lah. and just nice lah, when i have no time to browse there're clothes sales, BAG sales (i need a bag) and underwear sales! AAAAARRRHHH. and pasar malam also. s-i-a-n.

our house has a new alkaline water filter now. it's supposedly super super good for health. the ph test works obviously on it! must wait for my toxins to be purged tomorrow. woooo~

i'm still hung up (and cracking up) over the last ep of 2d1n. really, the time mong got duct tape all over his hair-- priceless.

went to the old folks' home again yesterday. mama finally got to complain to me about the bruises on her arms from the TWO FAILED OPS she had. but according to mommy it's nobody's fault, she's just so old and frail that it's difficult to put in the tubes successfully. so, it's back at her chest. they're gonna try on her thigh next. poor mama! but she doesn't look one bit scared. she is so brave. like wonderwoman. wrinkly version.

complain complain. but it's much better compared to last week, and she tells me it's not painful anymore.

still, it looks so horrible in real life.

haha, we counted down 3,2,1 before taking the pic, and she said BOOM. so i was laughing away. love you mama!

angry with my dad right now. shall not elaborate.

continued with schoolwork today. the weather's just fiiine. :) gonna prepare for the kids' chapel lesson this sunday, and the art lesson this thursday. teacher agnes!

i hope i didn't do extremely bad for the test thing last sunday. hope even more that nobody's gonna reveal the results publicly. there was some 'debate' (not really lah) on one question: can you prove God exists? because i wrote "no, you cannot scientifically prove that God exists" but everyone else put a strong yes and all their reasons and methods, even Bible verses. when i told them my answer everyone was like whaaaa?? so i'm really interested to hear what explanation will be given on that particular question.

if you could safely, entirely, scientifically prove that God exists, who would need faith? God cannot be proven, and neither can evolution be. science and faith are separate. science is observation. faith is what we believe. you can use science to strengthen your faith, but to base your faith on science would be deadly, because things we observe, we do not always understand or interpret correctly. so, that's in a nutshell, why i wrote what i did. don't misunderstand! i'm not some blasphemer or anything! haha~

swung by the thrift shop and bought another $5 pair of shoes. also dug up two boxes of charcoal sticks that originally cost $7 each but i got them for a a buck each (box). (!!!) uh, found some fabric paint and other stuff there too. came home and tried out the ancient charcoal... still works fine!

TODAY WAS THE FIRST ART CLASS! and i got my pay already, wow wow wow.
let the ong kids use acrylic. painted with them step by step. :)) they're good and sweet but the number of kids-- four! can get rowdy at times, especially when they get carried away laughing at something funny. it's not a bad thing, in fact it's super cute. for now. haha~ am i that funny? they laugh at everything i say! but must balance the friend-friend side with the i'm jie jie listen-to-me side. hm.
just now, zac and ash were fighting for a paint brush with green paint on it, and the brush flicked and splattered green paint all over my face. i tried not to laugh but i had to because THEIR FACES WERE SO SHOCKED AND FUNNYYYYY. but i freaked out a little and immediately checked my tshirt because, well it's tim's camera tshirt and i bought it for him with my own money, so it's precious. back to the kids.. it was so hilarious. ash even said " YOUR TEETH HAVE!" i frantically grabbed tissue and began wiping my braced teeth then he sat back and chuckled saying.. joking only lah.

hope future thursdays will be as fun. hmm must plan next week's lesson.

yep today's his birthday. had dinner at crystal jade, causeway point, before tim booked in. =) joint celebration for my dad and mom since hers is next week.

wanted to buy bag to replace my brown checkered one but no good deals. saw this pretty white guess bag, but you know guess.. in the hundreds. fat hope. will just keep looking around, using my (torn) black one first. ughh.

congrats to jerry for wining a bunch of medals. good job, boy!

i still cannot bite anything without extreme pain, and daddy made this really tasty pizza today so i'm quite depressed. i have taken my food for granted all this while. sighs.

BRACIES

actually today is a super EVENTFUL day really really! best story first.. i got braced up! met up with geil at ninish.. went to embrace (the clinic) and very quickly it was my turn. think i was the first one again. told the ortho about my gums, he said no problem, so apparently it's normal? started with the LONG process of putting on the metal. it's not as bad as i thought.. but tasted horrible! after about an hour or so it was done and i went to lucky plaza with ah geil to get philippino vinegar and duck sauce. or something like that.

second story-- A MUGGER CRASHED INTO ME on an escalator going towards the MRT. woah, geil and i were at the bottom, and the guy was runnnnning down at full speed (very loudly). think he was holding a wallet. this girl was screaming,"chase him!!!! " x1000. we couldn't really react and i was afraid if we tried to stop him he would hit us or something so i just stuck out my elbow and he barged right through it. into it. whatever. my arm was so red after that, and geil and i watched as the girl and another guy ran after him. after that we were talking about all the things we could have done, pull his hair for DNA, trip him, poke his eyes out, etc. a more practical thing we did was recall his appearance.. race age hair blah blah.

see this is why i should learn kung fu lah~

third but boring story is someone collapsed or something at SSC. i suspect collapse cause, well what else? give birth? i was waiting for the shuttle bus when an ambulance arrived and the stretcher came rolling out. it was there for so long.. left on the yishun bus before anyone came out. oh well.

on milk diet. sadness.. i love my food! at least i got to eat some severely chopped up noodles at the alamons' place.. oh yes, HAPPY BIRFDAY MARC!

awaiting tomorrow morning-- ortho appointment. wondering if i'll be able to get the braces done since my gums aren't doing that well still. gonna have so see what the orthodontist says lah. =\ i think during the weekend and first few days of the week the toothless parts got quite infected.. then yesterday and today it got better but they're still quite sore. boohoo~

meeting up with geil to go in the morning. =)

cooked myself a good mashed meal today. two, in fact. had rrrreally smashed ramen (in essence, pre-chewed) for lunch with choppppped up veggie and egg. for dinner, mashed potatoes and soup with toasted bread soaked inside, and since no veggies i blended three big tomatoes with some honey and drank it up. it's funny i hate tomatoes but like the juice? hah. trying to nutrify (?) myself since i can't eat as usual. must take care of the skin i painstakingly medicated back to health last year. (pats cheeks)

used this new blender for the first time just now while making the juice and i like it so much! gonna make milkshakes and stuff with it soon. =D
